About MeI live in Eastern Pennsylvania with my husband and son, both of which I am quite fond of. (I think I'll keep them.) They are very supportive of my writing, as are the other members of my family and a handful of cherished friends.
I am no world traveler, and though there are many places I would love to see someday, I do most of my traveling in books, movies, music, and the occasional kick-ass TV series. About the Books I WriteMy books are all contemporary fiction, with romantic elements. I like to write with a little bit of humor and a whole lot of emotion. I want my readers to laugh and cry and be pulled into the world I created while they are reading.
About the Books I ReadEvery writer is a reader, and I spend each spare moment I can scrape up, engrossed in a book.
I read just about all types of fiction, but like to rotate genres so I'm not reading the same thing back to back. I have a particular love for a good, emotionally stimulating romance - whether it's contemporary, historical, sweet or erotic - as long as it makes me feel something for the characters. I also enjoy a good suspense thriller, sometimes science fiction, and the occasional Dystopian tale. My favorite books of all time are A Place To Call Home, by Deborah Smith, The Stand, by Stephen King; Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand; and the entire Harry Potter collection. Some of the authors who have inspired me are Deborah Smith, Karen White, Marian Keyes, Colleen Hoover, Barbara O'Neal and Jennifer Crusie. There are plenty more, but those are just a few. |
